To all of you, great people.

It’s midnight in Philadelphia, PA. I’m sitting in my studio, and by studio I mean a hotel room
with a kitchen. “Little Dog” for the first time sits completed on my desktop. I have watched it
about ten times tonight. The more I watch it, the more I love it. The thing about love is that
you never get to understand it, same with miracles, but both happen for reasons beyond
knowledge.

 

Little Dog is a miracle made with love.

I wanted to extend my gratitude to you all for being part of Little Dog, for me it has meant
more than I expected, more than I deserve.

To Eli, you are a movie star. To Nicolas, for giving me your all and letting me do what I
wanted with the rest. To Mariela, for listening to me so carefully. A good actor listens, and the
other one only pretends. To the three of you for believing in me when I didn’t know what I
was doing. You are the best, and I wish you luck in your careers because you’re talented and
your work is the most important one in the industry.

To Brenton Oeschle, for capturing my ideas into a frame. To Joe, for recording the voices of their
souls. To Jose Rodriguez for bringing color to the haunted house. To Sasikumar B., for the
birds, for the crows, for the factory next door, for those imaginary guns, for the rain, for the
storm, but especially for the beautiful score which I could die for. What’s a movie without a score? I wonder.

This is just the beginning of a long exciting career ahead, and I hope I get the pleasure to
work with you all again.

And, don’t you ever forget that EGO is a true killer and the Great war is only one, the one
you are fighting for right now.
